The Big
Bear Sports Ranch is proud to have Gerhard Benthin return with his Brazil
Soccer USA Program for his 6th season. The goal of Brazil Soccer USA is
to develop the young soccer player's level of skill through a well rounded
soccer education, thereby achieving an understanding of how much effort
is necessary to attain a high level of play.
The training of Brazilian soccer players places a strong emphasis on physical fitness and technical training. It is this emphasis combined with a unique creativity that places the Brazilian players among the best in the world. BBSR provides a perfect HIGH ALTITUDE training facility to accomplish this type of training.
Coaching Staff
Gerhard Benthin is a former Brazilian Pro Player who has also acted as an assistant coach for the LA Galaxy Soccer Team. He also has helped lead the Brazil National Boys Team to being the 2006 Nike Cup Champions and the South America Cup Champions just this year!
Under his careful direction, the BBSR is please to offer Brazilian Soccer. The goal of Brazil Soccer USA (www.brazilsoccerusa.com) is to improve the young soccer player's skill level through a well rounded soccer education.
Skill Development
Learning the basic skills and refining them will make players reach a higher level. There is a soccer aphorism that tactics without technique is a contradiction. So effective tactics cannot take place in a match unless players can make quick decisions with accurate techniques. To achieve these qualities and standards as an individual player, you have to understand the positional role each player plays, as well as mastering the techniques and improving tactical understanding.
